Some of the greatest pleasures of living in San Miguel de Allende are its perpetual surprises. Recently, while walking our dogs at our local Sundays Farmers Market, we met a gentleman named Ed DeMasi who kindly invited us to join a group of locals for a unique dining experience at the fabulous Rosewood 1826 Restaurant. This premier event was organized to launch a fabulous line of fine wines from Provence, paired with an exquisite five-course dinner. Ed plans to continue hosting future events, connecting people with great wines from around the world and with each other.

Scott Allison is a spirited five-year resident of San Miguel. Equal parts connoisseur, party enthusiast, and social butterfly, he can be found at the heart of the city's most exciting gathering... glass in hand and story at the ready. When not discovering hidden gems, he's walking his dogs through the colorful streets, making connections, and collecting experiences that reflect the true essence of San Miguel living.
