Eighteen million dogs and cats in Mexico — 70% of the total — are homeless, and most die of starvation on the street. Rosey's Wish offers a humane solution through its free mobile sterilization clinic, reducing the animal population so that more dogs and cats can live healthy, happy lives in loving homes. Last October, this superbly run nonprofit — a 501(c)(3) and Mexican A.C. — celebrated its 1000th sterilization, and has a goal of doubling that number this year. On Thursday, February 26, from 6pm to 9pm, Rosey's Wish presents Fix & Fizz, a ticketed benefit event at Johnny's Piano Bar and Hotel Casa Linda (Mesones 101, near the corner of Hernandez Macias).
Ticket holders to this event will have access to a full open bar, a selection of delicious hors d'oeuvres provided by Ruby Joy's Catering, and musical entertainment by Operísima México, the Osmar Aquino Jazz Experience, and special guests. There will also be a silent auction, and a live auction conducted by the dynamic duo of Eli & Joseph.
