The Changing Nature of Migration in the Americas.
A discussion about the changing nature of migration in the Americas as a result of the Trump administration’s immigration policies.
The U.S. border is essentially closed. The large migrant caravans have ceased. Does this mean migration has ceased? Absolutely not. Migration is a global phenomenon that neither walls nor Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) stormtroopers can stop.
Come see a short film about initiatives to help migrants right here in Central Mexico, followed by a panel discussion featuring Pastor Ignacio Martinez Ramirez, founder and director of the Albergue ABBA migrant shelter in Celaya.
Learn more about the continuing needs of migrants and displaced people, and how you can help.
Fundraising event for the Albergue ABBA, migrant shelter in Celaya, sponsored by the Latin American Relief Fund.
The Latin American Relief Fund is pleased to present a special event on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 5:00 pm, at the Teatro Santa Ana, Relox 50A, San Miguel de Allende.

The Changing Nature of Migration in the Americas / Cambios en la Migración en las Américas.
