We are pleased to welcome Branka Panic for her talk Is AI Coming in Peace? Harnessing Technology to Prevent Conflict on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 5:00 pm at La Casona Event Center. Drawing on real-world examples and emerging research, Branka will explore how AI is already shaping global security, diplomacy, and social stability—and how thoughtful design and governance could help steer these tools toward reducing violence rather than fueling it.

Branka Panic is the Founding Director of AI for Peace, an organization dedicated to applying artificial intelligence to conflict prevention and peacebuilding. A frequent international speaker and advisor, she has worked with governments and global institutions on the ethical and responsible use of AI, and has published widely on how technology can support a more just and peaceful world. She is also a Non-Resident Fellow at New York University's Center on International Cooperation and a recognized leader in the growing field of responsible AI.

Following the presentation, we'll open the floor for Q&A, then gather in the adjacent sala for a social hour with complimentary botanas and beverages available for purchase.
