International Meeting of Coexistence and Universal Brotherhood
This year the International Meeting of Coexistence and Universal Brotherhood that takes place year after year in the Municipality of San Miguel de Allende, with the purpose of coexistence between more than 30 different countries, it is expected the participation of more than 40 ambassadors, so that they share their culture, ideology, religion, customs among others.
Luis Ferro de la Sota, President of "San Miguel en Marcha" said that in San Miguel de Allende there are more than 60 nationalities living in this city, more than 100 civil associations where everyone works and it does not matter that their countries are at war; they coexist shaking hands with each other. He said that many times they do not understand each other in the language, but they do understand the purpose and purpose and the social work.
This project was born after the death of Stirling Dickinson, a foreigner who in his life mentioned "one does not choose where to be born, but if he chooses where to live and where to die", noting that the foreigner raised the Culture in the Municipality to a large extent and it was thanks to the Mr. Dickinson in the company of Enrique Fernández Martínez that the Allende Institute was known around the world.
The objective is the preservation of Culture and history; emphasizing that San Miguel de Allende is a Cultural Heritage of Humanity and the Twinning of the Universal Culture of Mexico with the World.
It is worth mentioning that representations of all the Continents are made during this meeting. During a week, this town becomes "The World House of Culture". With the diplomatic participation of different countries.

Este año el Encuentro Internacional de Convivencia y Hermandad Universal que se lleva a cabo año con año en el Municipio de San Miguel de Allende, con la finalidad de la convivencia entre más de 30 distintos países, se espera la participación de más de 40 embajadores, para que compartan su cultura, ideología, religión, costumbres entre otras.
Luis Ferro de la Sota, Presidente de “San Miguel en Marcha” indicó que en San Miguel de Allende existen más de 60 nacionalidades que viven en esta Ciudad, más de 100 asociaciones civiles donde trabajan todos y no importa que sus países estén en guerra; ellos conviven estrechándose la mano uno con otro. Dijo que muchas veces no se entienden en el idioma, pero si se entienden en el fin y el propósito y la labor social.
Éste proyecto nació luego de la muerte de Stirling Dickinson, extranjero que en su vida mencionaba “uno no elige donde nacer, pero si elige donde vivir y donde morir” señalando que el extranjero levanto en gran parte la Cultura en el Municipio y fue gracias al Sr. Dickinson en compañía de Enrique Fernández Martínez que el Instituto Allende se diera a conocer alrededor del Mundo.
El objetivo es la preservación de la Cultura y de la historia; recalcando que San Miguel de Allende es Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad y el Hermanamiento de la Cultura Universal de México con el Mundo.
Es de mencionar que durante este encuentro se realizan representaciones de todos los Continentes. Durante una semana, esta localidad se convierte en “La Casa Mundial de la Cultura”. Con la participación diplomática de distintos países.
