Daniel Packard’s Live Group Happiness Therapy Show

By John Wharton

Daniel Packard is back and ready to help you feel better! Five years ago San Miguel was entertained and enlightened by Daniel Packard’s sold-out 'Live Group Sex Therapy Show’ which ran in New York with the help of the producers of Wicked and The Book of Mormon. This time he is going beyond sex to help us all feel better (fast!) with his 'Live Group Happiness Therapy Show.

Daniel masterfully takes questions from the audience and then playfully improvises a response that may be both painfully funny and profoundly epiphany-popping. The result is a dynamic, interactive adventure designed to help us all get from pain to joy, doubt to hope and fighting to cuddling.

You can participate and jump in or just watch and be entertained. Either way it’s going to be two GLORIOUS evenings of laughter and illumination and of course…feeling happier. Two nights only: December 12 and 13 at 7 pm. Tickets available at the Biblioteca gift shop and online at

Don’t miss the final week of Alan Jordan’s stunning hit production of Kiss of the Spider Woman, Dec 7-9 at 7 with weekend matinees at 3. This is the live theater event that played to sold-out audiences at Shelter so don’t let this one pass you by!

Friday and Saturday, Dec 14 and 15 at 7 pm, Nathan & Jessie return to Shelter from the streets of New Orleans to share their gift of good-time ‘gypsy jazz’ as Nathan, Jessie and Trevor ‘spread positivity and joy one note at a time!”

Shelter Theater is an easy 10-minute walk down from the Jardin! See our calendar at for dates and online tickets. Find our logo on the Que Pasa map in the northwest corner. Write for details. Please respect our artists: no-show tickets may be released at showtime with no refund.
