Bartok Lataretu is a traditional gypsy artist who has been considered on many occasions as one of the most active and versatile exponents of Flamenco in Latin America. Of wide and recognized musical trajectory, it has appeared in the main concert halls in different countries of Europe and Latin America.

With his unique style, Bartok, he has participated in diverse international forums and festivals such as the International Festival Cervantino de Guanajuato, the Artistic Society of Monterrey, A.C., La Guitarra Hoy, Guerrero International Guitar Festival; The Flower Fair, France; The Fair of Friendly Cultures, CDMX; International Festival “Paiz” of Guatemala; Festival “La Guitarra en el Mundo” in Bolivia, International Festival of Puerto Rico, among others.

His constant work of interpretation of traditional flamenco and the application of his technical and stylistic resources to the popular repertoire of the different countries has allowed him to collaborate artistically with bigest musicians such as Maestro George Miller, director of Embrujo Flamenco of the house Sony Music,
collaborating in different productions which reached a great success staying for 10 weeks in the first place of sale in the main record companies like Mix-up and Tower Records,whit the album “Guitarras Virtuosas”, next to guitarists of the likes of Paco de Lucía, Al Di Meola, John McLaughlin and Manolo Sanlucar,

Bartok Lataretu’s unmistakable and authentic gypsy style, emanates from his audience, the spontaneous euphoria for a vital rhythmic sense and real of the gypsy sound, with its characteristic timbres, colors and melismas; a creative, powerful and unique artist. Bartok will open his concert season, performing for the first time in San Miguel de Allende on February 27th at 6:30 pm at the Teatro Santa Ana, La Biblioteca, at Relox 50.
