Todo y Nada is back for May. A new performance series in SMA, each month we pair a feature writer and a musician and also showcase voices from the community at our open mic. Music, poetry, stories, and more. All mediums welcome! This month we are excited to be featuring former jack-of-all-culinary trades and cookbook author turned creative writer Amy Cotler and flamenco guitar/harpist extraordinaire Sergio Basurto.
Hosted at Geek & Coffee on the grounds of Fabrica La Aurora. No cost for entry. We will pass the hat for our features with food and drink purchases are encouraged. All seating is outdoors. See you there!

Amy Cotler
Amy Cotler was a leader in the farm-to-table movement, and a food forum host for the NY Times. After her career as a cooking teacher, recipe developer and cookbook author, she turned to creative writing. Her short pieces have appeared in various publications, including Guesthouse, Hinterland, Bright Flash Literary Review, Drunk Monkeys, Women Who Roar and The Hamilton Stone Review. Currently, Cotler is on the steering committee of the San Miguel Prose Cafe. She lives in San Miguel, with her husband, an artist, and their rescue standard poodle, Remy. Sergio Basurto
Sergio Basurto has been delighting audiences with his flamenco guitar and harp playing in San Miguel for more than 20 years. Self-taught since the age of 17, he has played throughout Mexico as well as Canada, South America, Spain and France. He plays regularly at the library and at venues throughout San Miguel.
