The review is an act that gives way to one of the most representative festivities in honor of the Patron Saint of our city.
The event will begin at 5pm and will leave the Aurora, Calzada de la Estación and Barrio del Valle del Maíz.
The review will consist of contingents of dance, music, stars and mojigangas, in addition to fireworks that will reach the Main Garden.
This event honors its founders, who intertwine history, tradition and folklore, 19 years after it was created by Gloria Rodriguez Navarrete with the help of the committee of festivities, customs and traditions.
La Alborada dates from December 8, 1924, a feast begun by Don Camilo González in the Temple of the Immaculate Conception, and it was not until September 1926 that, at the request of the parish priest of San Miguel Arcángel, the tradition is carried out in the iconic religious enclosure until today.
The tradition of the stars began in the factory of yarns and fabrics the “Aurora”, where every year, in the hands of Don Emigdio Ledezma, this great event is exalted with different sizes and colors.
The stars are carried by the families of San Miguel, who dance to the rhythm of the music through the main streets of the Center and up to the Main Square.
The Committee of Festivals, Customs and Traditions in coordination with the direction of Culture and Traditions, invites all the population to the Review of the Alborada, which annually pays tribute to a civilian who worked in favor of the traditions of San Miguel de Allende.

La revista es un acto que da paso a una de las festividades más representativas en honor al Santo Patrón de nuestra ciudad.
El evento comenzará a las 5pm y saldrá de la Aurora, Calzada de la Estación y Barrio del Valle del Maíz.
La revista consistirá en contingentes de danza, música, estrellas y mojigangas, además de juegos pirotécnicos que llegarán al Jardín Principal.
Este evento honra a sus fundadores, quienes entrelazan historia, tradición y folclor, a 19 años de haber sido creado por Gloria Rodríguez Navarrete con la ayuda del comité de festejos, usos y costumbres.
La Alborada data del 8 de diciembre de 1924, una fiesta iniciada por Don Camilo González en el Templo de la Purísima Concepción, y no fue sino hasta septiembre de 1926 que, a petición del párroco de San Miguel Arcángel, la tradición se lleva a cabo en el icónico recinto religioso hasta hoy.
La tradición de las estrellas comenzó en la fábrica de hilos y tejidos la “Aurora”, donde cada año, de la mano de Don Emigdio Ledezma, se exalta este gran evento con diferentes tamaños y colores.
Las estrellas son cargadas por las familias de San Miguel, quienes bailan al ritmo de la música por las calles principales del Centro hasta llegar a la Plaza Principal.
El Comité de Festejos, Usos y Costumbres en coordinación con la dirección de Cultura y Tradiciones, invita a toda la población a la Revista de la Alborada, que anualmente rinde homenaje a un civil que trabajó a favor de las tradiciones de San Miguel de Allende.
