This workshop aims to help children build confidence and self-esteem through engaging activities and exercises. Your child will discover and develop their physical, intellectual, emotional, and social skills and weaknesses. All this through activities that will promote reflection, cooperation, and self-awareness through games, creativity and art.
I trained to be a teacher in Mexico City. I worked in several different schools, have about 15 years experience teaching. I taught preschool and art k-12 in most of them. In San Miguel I taught at Centro de Crecimiento a school for handicapped children, Escuela del Sol, a small alternative school founded by mother in the 80s and at Carrusel pre school with Lupita , which is where this workshop will be held. I ran several summer camps in san miguel and volunteered at a country grade school at San Jeronimo de la Playa doing art, science, music, end lots of emotional intelligence activities. It is my passion, which I abandoned in order to put my son through school by framing. Now I get to work with kids again with three other amazing women who share this passion with me.
