Creating the Magic of Klezmer with Shetl Klezmer
If you have ever heard music from Klezmer, you will know that it goes beyond musical notes and melody, there is a special feeling that emerges in one listening to it. That is exactly what you will experience on February 19 at the Angela Peralta Theater, when the Shtetl Klezmer play musical themes that you can not forget. It cannot be said that there is a specific space-time origin of this musical genre, since its influence is very diverse since it is inspired so much by the inflections of religious songs, in the music that the Klezmorim learned from their Polish, Russian ethnic neighbors, Hungarian gypsies, etc.
You don't have to be a Jew to enjoy the music of the trio founded by maestro Abraham Rechthand, on violin, accompanied by Narciso Batista on clarinet, and piano guru Eduardo Soto, they will play music that will lift you from your seat and make you dance.

Shtetl Klezmer has performed theaters in Mexico City, as well as at the National Center for the Performing Arts, the Autonomous University of Tabasco, the Auditorium of the City of Villahermosa, the Conservatory "de las Rosas" in Morelia, the TEC of Monterrey It is not just about Jewish communities in Mexico City; Shtetl Klezmer has also taken the gospel of Klezmer music to Guatemala and Costa Rica.
The fame and impressive performances that his music has had also earned the group a place at Klezfestival, where they performed on the same stage with musicians from Israel, Europe, Canada, the United States and Latin America. His performance at the Klezfestival attracted the attention of Richard Simas, a Canadian journalist who later confessed his love for the group style of Shtetl Klezmer in the Portuguese American Journal. wrote: "Mexico City´s Shtetl Klezmer sets up. Si alguna vez has escuchado música de Klezmer, sabrás que va más allá de notas musicales y melodía, hay una sensación especial que emerge en uno escuchándola. Eso es exactamente lo que experimentarás el 19 de febrero en el Teatro Angela Peralta, cuando el Shtetl Klezmer toquen temas musicales que no podrás dejar de recordar. No puede decirse que exista un origen espacio-temporal concreto de este género musical, pues su influencia es muy diversa ya que se inspira tanto en las inflexiones de los cánticos religiosos, en la música que los klezmorim aprendían de sus vecinos étnicos polacos, rusos, gitanos húngaros, etc.
No tienes que ser judío para disfrutar la música del trío que fundó el maestro Abraham Rechthand, en violín, acompañado por Narciso Batista en clarinete, y el gurú del piano Eduardo Soto, tocarán música que te levantará de tu asiento y te hará bailar.
Los amantes de la música Klezmer conocemos el recorrido artístico del Shtetl Klezmer, pués desde 1997 han entretenido numerosas ciudades de México, Colombia, España, USA etc. con la música amada y adorada en toda Europa del Este.

Shtetl Klezmer se ha presentado teatros de la Ciudad de México, así como en el Centro Nacional de las Artes Escénicas, la Universidad Autónoma de Tabasco, el Auditorio de la Ciudad de Villahermosa, el Conservatorio "de las Rosas" en Morelia, el TEC de Monterrey. No se trata sólo de comunidades judías de Ciudad de México; Shtetl Klezmer también ha llevado el gospel de la música Klezmer a Guatemala y Costa Rica.
La fama y las impresionantes actuaciones que ha tenido su música también le valieron al grupo un lugar en Klezfestival, donde actuaron en el mismo escenario junto a músicos de Israel, Europa, Canadá, Estados Unidos y América Latina. Cabe destacar, entre muchas otras menciones que Abraham h, fundador de Shtetl Klezmer fué el primer violín de la Capilla Virreinal de la Nueva España, bajo la dirección de Aurelio Tello, con quienes estuvo en Bolivia, en mayo de 1998, representando a México en el 2do. Festival de música Renacentista y Barroca Americana, Misiones de Chiquitos.
