What to expect?
This show is made up of students and teachers from the different disciplines at the Academy (gymnastics, aerial dance, contemporary, hip hop)
We will have dances, acrobatics, acting and much more.

Each year the Espacio Academy offers a live play on stage so its students can show what they have learned during the school year. This year a work entitled FUTURA will be presented. Over one-hundred students between four and thirty years of age will participate. They are children, adolescents and young people who have been practicing stage skills so you will surely be surprised by their expertise.
FUTURA is the story of a girl who goes through difficult times. The situation with her family, school, friends – the chaos of life and the indifference of the city make her reach a limit. One day she explodes. All of this makes her wish she was somewhere else. Maybe the future is better she thinks? Then the main character has an encounter with a magical being that takes her on a journey through FUTURA. It is a journey full of magic, aerial dance and acrobatics.
The protagonist of the play is portrayed Mirai Corral, a 16-year-old girl who has been practicing performing arts for more than 10 years. During a break from rehearsals, she shared with me a few thoughts about her career. “At my young age I realize that it is not what I want to do, it is what I am. I developed a part of my talent at the Espacio Academy and made it amorphous, beautiful and different. By performing this play, I will earn my own destiny, my own goals, and the pride of my family.”
The date of the performance is Friday, June 24, at 7pm, and Saturday, June 25, at 6pm, at the Ángela Peralta Theater. You can purchase tickets at the theater box office. The price of admission will be between 100 and 300 pesos.
