HEALYcontemporáneo presents "Herencia Ancestral", an exhibition of recent paintings and drawings by Guadalajara artist Patricia García. This first exhibition of the artist's work in San Miguel de Allende, is a distillation and expansion of an artistic vocabulary built over the past twenty-five years. Hands, hearts, faces. flowers, Xolo dogs, are always at play in her work. "Herencia Ancestral" attempts to acknowledge the limitations and possibilities of the human condition, the human effort to navigate, and to shift our perceptions of the mundane into meaning and timelessness.
A reception for the artist will be held at the gallery on Saturday 10 June, from 3-5 pm.
