It's almost time for the annual gala festival, the Fabrica Aurora's White Party, when everyone looking forward to a wonderful evening of drinks and tapas and music converges upon the Fabrica Aurora's Centro de Arte y Diseño to celebrate some of the best art and design decor to be found in San Miguel de Allende. We are fortunate to have so many creative and innovative people at work in our beautiful city. Galeria Calderoni is pleased to continue to host and share the beautiful jewelry pieces of Jade Arroyo's Lunatika line as well as the Carlos Beltran collection of replica meso-American ceramic sculptures. At this year's White Party we are also pleased to announce the first public showing of a select grouping from Enkasa Designs (www.enkasadesigns.com), a line of modern, contemporary, industrial and luxury custom order furniture and design accessories.....mirrors, chairs, tables, lamps, lanterns and more.....lovingly handcrafted by a handful of the most-talented artisans in our city. The principal designer, Roberto Hernandez, will be present to share some of his favorite creations that will be interspersed amongst the other collections on display in the gallery. He will be happy to discuss with guests how his designs might complement their homes, places of work or latest design projects. Most of his clients so far have been internationally-renowned American design firms and his products have been featured three times in the prestigious decor magazines, ELLE DECOR and VERANDA as well as the local art of living publication, CASA MÍA.

To date, only a select few local residents are fortunate to have Enkasa Designs' pieces gracing their homes. It is the designer's aim to respond to his clients' needs and personal design requirements and he is always willing to attempt to address modifications and adaptations.

As a long-time resident of San Miguel and the first artist to establish a studio and gallery at La Fabrica Aurora it brings me such pleasure to help support and introduce a local designer whose work comes from a personal desire to create and provides employment for local talented artisans who work in wood, metal, leather, glass and fabrics to produce items of the highest quality.

We look forward to hosting everyone at Galeria Calderoni on Saturday, August 4 from 5-8 pm to see all of our collections, designed with heart and created with the unique touch of each artisan involved in its production. Galeria Calderoni will also be pleased to present new abstract paintings created especially for the White Party event.
