Monoprint Workshop

For Beginners - Learn the Basics. For Experienced Artists - Use this 2 Day Workshop as a Refresher Course. We will cover Additive, Subtractive, Textures, Stencils, etc. Explore the process of applying ink to an acrylic plate and transferring to paper via the etching press.

Playful, Fun, Addictive!

Monoprint or (Monotype printing) is an easily accessible medium for all levels and encourages playfulness and exploration of ideas. After demonstrations in a range of techniques, individual attention is given to each artist to pull professional quality prints.

2 Day Workshop Fee - $220 USD.
Includes all inks and materials plus one full sheet of 22" x 30" paper. Additional paper available for purchase in the workshop.

All Workshops are suitable for beginners to advanced.

Glen is an experienced printmaker with an MFA in printmaking and is a long time member of California Society of Printmakers and associate member of Monterey Print Club. She was the originator of the Monotype Marathon for the SJ ICA and co-director of Citadel Print Center in San Jose. Glen relocated to Mexico in 2002 where she begain offering Monotype Workshops and Art Vacations to an international group of artists. She relocated to San Miguel de Allende in 2017.

Whether you are a painter, photographer, or sculptor who wants to explore a new medium, a printmaker who wants to create new work, or a beginner who wants to explore the medium, this workshop is for you. Glen gives individual attention to each artist, guiding them in the process that suits their vision.
